    For December MSH #5-When I think of Maroon, I think of my mom's Ruby ring she left for me. I always loved this ring. I rarely wear it, since it is such a 'soft' stone, as my mom used to put it. Her Uncle bought it for her when she was 17 years old...around 1946. So, it's also an antique.

ruby and pearl antique ring is it worth much?

right my grandad gave me a pearl and ruby antique silver ring it seems to be realy old the hallmark is "P&RB" with an achor,lion and somthing else i cant make out im told it could date back to the 1700's is and is it worth much?

It may actually be worth quite a lot. If the ring truly contains a pearl, the pearl would have to be a natural, which if good quality, would make it a museum piece or a collector's piece.
