i was wondering how safe is it to buy diamonds from pawn shops or estate jewelers? is the value worth the risk? is there a risk?
how do i check out a pawn shop?
Pawn shops? Probably not worth the risk of the pawn shop either not knowing what they have, or not caring. Of course that means you might find a real treasure in a pawn shop, but the reverse is more often true.

Seeking estate piece engagement ring, I live in NYC. If not an estate piece, a piece where the diamond is GIA certified and has been certified as previously used. Want to certify diamond is not mined by unethical practices.
