A diamond engagement ring, valued at $9,000, went missing Feb. 19 after a woman left it in the bathroom while she washed her hands at Burnt Toast, 2492 N. Randall Road. A 48-year-old homeless man was arrested at 3:11 p.m. Feb. 17 in the Metra lot, 85 National St., and charged with misdemeanor theft after he took a wheel off a bicycle in a bike rack and put it on his own bike. A 21-year-old Aurora woman and a 27-year-old Aurora woman were arrested at 4:26 p.m. Feb. 17 at Burlington Coat Factory, 250 S. Randall Road, and each charged with misdemeanor retail theft after they hid clothing and other items, valued at $183.94, in their bags. Two people stole a bottle of vodka, valued at $20.49, at 9:58 p.m. Feb. 17 from Meijer, 815 S. Randall Road, and drove away.
