i want to sell my used diamond engagement ring and I want to get a good price...however I dont know what the carat weight is, etc etc, the color /grade of diamond, do i get an appraisal first? if so ,. how much do appraisal cost, and where shud i sell
Yes, get an appraisal before you even consider giving it a price! You should be able to get an appraisal for free; at least in the US you can, but I'm not sure where you live. If you are in the US, then you should be able to take it to any reputable jeweler
