My fiance and I are discussing what kind of engagement ring to buy me, and he said he would let me pick it out because he wants me to have a ring I like. However, I have always been a fan of black diamonds, and I would like to have an emerald cut diamond

I like black diamonds. My mother had a black diamond wedding band and a black diamond anniversary band. I dont think anything is wrong with that at all.
