Opinions: Should I get sapphires and diamonds in my wedding bands or just diamonds?

My engagement ring is a palladium three stone ring that was put together by my fiance, his dad and his step mother. There are two sapphires, 1/2 carat each on each side of my diamond which is also 1/2 carat. My engagement ring means a lot as the sapphires

I think diamonds only on the bands will make the heirloom saphires stand out. They will seem very dignified being the only saphires on your hand, but may seem a little less obvious if amongst other, not so important saphires! Does that make sense?

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama -- Unless otherwise noted, the following incidents were reported to Huntsville police Monday and Tuesday. In items with incomplete addresses, police withheld the information:

North precinct

Blue Springs Circle: A 2004 Honda Accord was stolen from a home in the 2400 block between 5:30 and 9:05 p.m. Monday.

Blue Springs Road: A wallet, driver's license and two checks were stolen from a 38-year-old man at a service station in the 5100 block about 3 p.m. Sunday.

Blue Springs Road: A 1990 Geo Prism was stolen from a home in the 2600 block about 11:55 a.m. Tuesday.

Jordan Lane: A storage facility in the 2700 block was burglarized between 3 p.m. Feb. 4 and 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Four 20-inch chrome rims and tires were stolen.

Medaris Road: A 72-year-old woman reported her identity stolen Feb. 1. The theft was not reported to police until Tuesday.

Norris Road: Police are investigating a case of sexual abuse involving a 25-year-old woman that occurred at a home in the 2100 block about 11 p.m. Jan. 25. The case was not reported to police until Tuesday.
